Terms of Service
Last updated 7 August 2026 · Glancet v0.1.0 (early beta)
These terms cover the Glancet macOS application and the glancet.io website. Buying or using Glancet means you accept them. They are written to be read, not to be impressive.
01 — WHO YOU ARE CONTRACTING WITH
Glancet is made and licensed by Hlopin Artur, trading as Glancet, reachable atsupport@glancet.io.
Purchases are sold and fulfilled by Lemon Squeezy, LLC as merchant of record. Your payment contract is with them; your licence to use the software is with us, on these terms. Lemon Squeezy's ownbuyer terms also apply to the transaction.
02 — EARLY BETA
Glancet is at version 0.1.0 and is early beta software. It is incomplete, under active development, and will change. Features may be added, altered or removed before 1.0. You should not rely on it for anything critical, and you should expect bugs.
We publish what changed in the changelog and what is planned on thepublic roadmap.
03 — YOUR LICENCE
When you buy Glancet you get a personal, worldwide, non-exclusive, perpetual licence to:
- install and use Glancet on any Mac you personally own or use for work;
- keep using the version you paid for, indefinitely, including after any future price rise;
- receive updates as described at the time of purchase.
You may not:
- resell, sublicense, rent or redistribute the app or your licence key;
- share a licence key publicly or use one key across an organisation it wasn't bought for;
- reverse engineer the app to circumvent licensing (inspecting it to understand what it does on your own machine is fine, and we would rather you did).
Buy one licence per person. If you need licences for a team, email us and we'll sort something out.
04 — TRIAL AND PRICE
Glancet runs unrestricted for 7 days with no card and no account. After that a one-time payment unlocks it permanently. It is not a subscription and it does not auto-renew — there is nothing to cancel.
The beta price is $10. We have said publicly that the price will rise at 1.0; if you buy before then, your licence is unaffected by that.
05 — REFUNDS
Full refund within 30 days, no reason required. The details are on therefund policy page, which forms part of these terms.
06 — NOT AFFILIATED WITH THE AGENT VENDORS
Glancet observes coding agents made by other companies. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or the maintainers of OpenCode. Claude, Claude Code, Codex and Gemini are trademarks of their respective owners and are used here only to describe what Glancet works with.
Those agents can change how they work at any time. If a vendor changes or removes the hook and plugin interfaces Glancet relies on, parts of Glancet may stop working through no fault of ours. We will fix what we reasonably can.
07 — NO WARRANTY
Glancet is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will correctly report the state of every session.
08 — LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to Glancet is limited to the amount you actually paid for it. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost work or lost data.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including your statutory consumer rights, which vary by country and which these terms do not override.
09 — TERMINATION
Your licence ends if you materially breach these terms, in particular by redistributing the app or your key. You can stop using Glancet at any time; "Remove Glancet…" in Settings deletes its stored data from your Mac.
10 — CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these terms as the product develops. Changes apply from the date at the top of this page and are not retroactive — they will not remove a licence you already paid for.
11 — GOVERNING LAW
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Moldova, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.
Anything unclear: support@glancet.io. We would rather explain a term than argue about it later.
