HOVER THE SCREEN — THE PANEL DROPS FROM THE NOTCH · ESC DISMISSES

THE AGENTS IT SPEAKS · THE APPS IT JUMPS TO

Claude Code is fully wired — usage limits and transcript detail included. Codex, Gemini CLI and OpenCode are supported too. Jumps land in iTerm2, Terminal.app, Ghostty, kitty, Warp, Alacritty, VS Code, Cursor, WebStorm, PhpStorm, IntelliJ, PyCharm and anything else macOS can name.

LEVEL 01  POWER-UPS

SIX THINGS YOU STOP
DOING BY HAND

⌘1

ONE-KEY JUMP

⌘1–⌘5 drops you back into a finished session. The exact split in iTerm2; the project's window in every other terminal and IDE.

FOUR-STATE ALIEN

Working, needs you, done, idle. The menu-bar sprite is colour-coded by the aggregate, so one glance up is the whole check.

FUEL GAUGE

Claude Code's 5-hour and weekly limits with exact reset countdowns — polled gently, and highlighted as you close in.

SOUND ON DONE

Optional cues for finished and needs-permission. Off until you switch them on, then you can walk away.

EXTERNAL DISPLAYS

Your big screen stays clean while agents churn. A capsule appears only when one needs you or finishes — then gets out of the way.

100% LOCAL

No account, no API key, no telemetry. Hooks reach Glancet over loopback and your agent state never leaves the machine.

ALSO IN THE PANEL NO SETTINGS REQUIRED

  • Your prompt on every row

Two sessions in one repo stay tellable apart.

  • Closing summary

The agent's last message, not just “done”.

  • Model tag

Read locally from the session transcript.

  • Live subagents

    A ▸ N fold-out listing each task and whether it's still running.

  • Git branch per session

Resolved by reading .git/HEAD — no subprocess, worktree aware.

  • Inline rename

Names key off the project and survive restarts.

  • ⇧⌘G from anywhere

Opens the panel on whichever screen your cursor is on.

  • Safe hook install

Merges into your settings with a backup. Other tools' hooks untouched.

  • Glancing counts

Switching to your terminal calms finished sessions. Needs-input stays loud.

  • Quiet by default

Launch at login, no Dock icon, and Claude's own notifications optional.

LEVEL 02  SETUP

THREE MINUTES TO PLAY

01

INSTALL & CONNECT

Drag to Applications, then hit Install for each agent you use. Glancet merges its hooks into that agent's own settings file and keeps a backup — your existing hooks are left alone.

02

RUN AGENTS AS USUAL

No wrapper command, no flags, no daemon to babysit. Sessions show up on their own, tagged with the project, the branch and the terminal they're in.

03

GLANCE UP. JUMP IN.

The notch says who needs you. ⌘1–⌘5 or ⇧⌘G puts you there. Grant Accessibility once and Glancet raises the right window too.

LEVEL 03  PRICE

PLAY FREE
FOR 7 DAYS

Full app, every feature, no card. When the week is up it's ten dollars, once, forever — the early-bird price while Glancet is in beta, and every future update is included.

Glancet is at v0.1.0 and still in development. It isn't on sale yet — leave your email and we'll write to you the day it is.

LEVEL 04  CO-OP

TELL US WHAT TO BUILD

Glancet is early and the roadmap is public. Post an idea, vote on someone else's, watch it move across the board. Agents and terminals that aren't supported yet start their life here.

LEVEL 05  PLAYER MANUAL

SELECT A QUESTION

USE ▲▼ OR JUST CLICK

A.01

Then the menu-bar alien is your always-on indicator — it's colour-coded by aggregate state, notch or not. Results arrive as a capsule that drops from the top edge, the same way they do on an external display, and ⇧⌘G opens the full panel on whichever screen your cursor is on.
